And they know that helping small business owners stay afloat in tough times can be a bridge to closing the wealth gap faced by too many African-American families throughout Michigan. That's why they have prioritized investments that help create financial success in communities:

  • Michigan Reconnect: tuition-free community college scholarships and job training for over 170,000 Michiganders

  • Futures for Frontliners: tuition-free skills training for frontline workers

  • End the Retirement Tax

  • Cutting Taxes $3,000 per family

  • Helping Small Businesses stay afloat with $400 million in relief
